Cisco IP Phones 79xx
In this example, I am going to forward my primary extension 58444 to my test extension 88444.
- Press the CFwdALL button
- After you hear two short beeps, enter the extension you want to forward your calls to
- If you are forwarding calls to your cell phone or to another number outside the district, after the two beeps enter 9+XXX XXX XXXX where X = the 10-digit number you are forwarding to
- Note: You can only forward to local numbers with 303 and 720 area codes
- You can see below that I have successfully forwarded x58444 to x88444 because:
- There is now an arrow next to 58444 in the upper right corner of the phone display
- There is a message in the bottom left of the screen saying Forwarded to 88444
- To disable forwarding, press the CFwdALL button again
- You will know forwarding has been disabled because the arrow in the upper right corner of the screen next to 58444 will disappear, as will the Forwarded to < ext # > message in the lower left of the display

- Note: You can only forward to local numbers with 303 and 720 area codes
- You can see below that I have successfully forwarded x58444 to x88444 because:
- There is now a message below April Findley 58444 in the upper left corner of the phone display that says Forwarded to 88444
- There is a temporary message in the bottom left of the screen saying 58444 – Forwarded to 88444
- Note: This message will disappear after five (5) seconds
- To disable forwarding, press the Forward off button
- You will know forwarding has been disabled because Forwarded to 88444 message will disappear
