Getting Started with MyVRSpot

MyVRSpot is “built specifically for education, providing your organization a safe and secure method for uploading, creating, archiving, and sharing of digital media.”

Currently, all St. Vrain teachers have access to MyVRSpot via ClassLink. Please make sure the videos uploaded are using best educational practices.

Keep in mind you may only upload and share videos that you have created or have written consent to share. Click here to learn more about copyright laws.

How do I access MyVRSpot?

Via a Web browser

  • Go to https://classlink.svvsd.org
  • Sign in with your district username and password
  • Add the “MyVRSpot” app via the Staff Resources App Library.

How do I add a video from YouTube or Google Drive to MyVRSpot?

Within MyVRSpot,

  • Select “Upload” in the top navigation bar.
  • For YouTube
    • Select “Upload YouTube or Vimeo Link”
    • Copy and paste YouTube/Vimeo web address
    • Select “Upload.”

  • For Google Drive
    • Select “Upload from Google Drive”
    • You may need to sign in for the first time.
    • Select file from your SVVSD Google Drive account.
    • Select “Select.”

How do I share videos to MyVRSpot out?

  • Select the share icon in the orange panel associated with the video.
  • Copy the link below the “Share outside MyVRSpot.”
  • This link can be shared in Schoology and Seesaw.

How do I create a QR code for a myVRSpot video?

The VRSpot quiz feature is not working.

Currently, St. Vrain has licenses for teachers and staff. Students do not have licenses, so features such as video quizzes will not work within MyVRSpot.

How do I use MyVRSpot in Nearpod?

Within Nearpod under the Content tab, select “Web Content,” not the “Video” option.

Where do I go for more support and troubleshooting?

MyVRSpot provides direct support via chat, phone, and email.

  • Login to MyVRSpot
  • Select the dialogue icon on the top navigation bar.
  • Select Type: Email, Live Chat, Phone Call
  • Enter email address or phone number
  • Briefly describe the assistance that you are requesting
