Using Cisco Check Point Endpoint Security to Access the St. Vrain Valley School District Virtual Private Network

Accessing the St. Vrain Valley School District Virtual Private Network on Windows 10:

1. Right-click on the padlock icon in the bottom right of the Windows 10 Taskbar

2. Select Connect from the contextual menu

3. The Cisco Check Point Endpoint Security Login Window will appear 

4. Enter your district username (lastname_firstname) and password

5. If authentication is successful, a notification will appear stating Check Point Endpoint Security: Connection succeeded, along with a green circle on the padlock icon

6. To disconnect the from the St. Vrain Valley School District Virtual Private Network (SVVSD VPN), right-click on the padlock icon and select Disconnect

7. Next, click Yes on the confirmation window

8. You are now disconnected from the SVVSD VPN

Accessing the St. Vrain Valley School District Virtual Private Network on macOS:

1. Click on the Finder icon in the bottom left of the macOS Dock

2. A Finder window opens

3. On the left sidebar of the Finder window, select Applications under Favorites

4. Scroll to the Endpoint Security VPN application and double-click to open

5. A small padlock icon appears in the upper right of the Finder menu bar

6. Click on the small padlock icon and select Connect from the dropdown menu

7. The Cisco Check Point Endpoint Security Login Window will appear 

8. Enter your district username (lastname_firstname) and password

9. Select Connect in the lower left corner

10. If authentication is successful, a notification will appear stating Check Point Endpoint Security: Connection succeeded, along with a green circle on the padlock icon

11. Click Close to dismiss the Cisco Check Point Endpoint Security window

12. To disconnect the from the St. Vrain Valley School District Virtual Private Network (SVVSD VPN), click on the padlock icon and select Disconnect

13. Next, click Yes on the confirmation window

14. You are now disconnected from the SVVSD VPN
