Installing TestNav Through Self Service – 2019

This year we will be installing TestNav for CMAS testing through the Self Service application on Mac computers.  If you are using a Chromebook or Windows computer, this document will not apply to you.

First step is to load Self Service.  Bring up spotlight search by clicking the magnifying glass in the upper right corner of the screen near the clock, or hit ⌘-Space.  Type ‘Self Service’ and hit enter.

Once you are in Self Service, search for TestNav and click ‘Install.’

It will then say ‘Executing.’  Wait about two minutes for the program to install.  When the button says ‘Install’ again, you’ll know it’s ready to go.

At this point, you can close Self Service.  Bring up Spotlight Search again and search for TestNav, then run it.

Once you run it, you may see the following screen.

If so, you will need to click the dropdown menu where it says ‘Not Signed In’ and ‘Choose Different Customer’ as in the screenshot below.

You will then see the following screen come up.

Click Colorado

You will now see the following screen.

Look for the drop-down menu at the upper right of the screen.

Click the arrow on the drop-down menu, then click App Check.

You will now see the following screen.

Enter your school’s Configuration Identifier for 2019.

Click ‘Run App Check’

Everything should come up green, which means you are good to go for testing!
