Setting a Custom Wallpaper Background to Elementary Class iPad Sets

Some teachers like to set a custom background on their class iPads to make them easier to tell apart and to distinguish them from other teachers’ iPads.

STEP 1

On the iPad, take (or find and save to the camera roll) pictures that you’d like to use for the wallpaper. You can use colored construction paper, printed numbers, shapes, or other images.

STEP 2

Find Settings and tap on it to open app.

STEP 3

On the left menu scroll to Wallpaper and tap on it to open the wallpaper options. Next tap on Choose a New Wallpaper.

STEP 4

Tap on Camera Roll.

STEP 5

Tap on the image in the camera roll that you’d like to use.

STEP 6

The image will open and provide a choice to Set Lock Screen, Set Home Screen, or Set Both.

The lock screen is the first screen you see when the iPad wakes up.

The home screen is the background you see behind apps.
