When a student or staff member who is using a district iPad experiences a name change, the following steps must be taken to update their device with the correct information.
- Find the device in Jamf Pro (https://svvsd.jamfcloud.com) under the Devices tab and select it to enter its record
- Select the User and Location section on the left menus in the Inventory tab
- Click Edit, then enter the new Active Directory username and click Search
- Once populated, Save the change in the upper right
- If needed, have the user go to their iPad Settings and enter their password to their changed account
