Keyboard Shortcuts

Command (⌘)-Spacebar: Opens Spotlight for searching for files

SPotlight Search

Command (⌘)-Tab: Shows open programs. If you hold down the Command and repeatedly press Tab, you’ll switch between all open programs. You can also quit applications by hitting the Q while the Command is still held down.

fn-Delete: Forward delete (works like the Del key on a full keyboard)

fn-up arrow: Page up (works like the Page up key on a full keyboard)

fn-down arrow: Page down (works like the Page down key on a full keyboard)

fn-right arrow: End (works like the End key on a full keyboard)

fn-left arrow: Home (works like the Home key on a full keyboard)

Tip! If you’re coming to the Mac from Windows, know that almost any shortcut you learned in the Windows environment will work on your Mac if you use the Command(⌘) key instead of the Control key.
