Emergency Messenger – District Level ONLY

Create Emergency Message

At the top of the screen check for school to be All Schools.

Under the Index tab go to Messenger > Emergency Messenger.

Decide whether the message is going to Student Messenger Contacts (Parents/Guardians), Staff or Student and Staff Contacts. Be sure to select All Schools and All Grades.

The delivery method will default to all four options.  That is okay, because it is up to the recipient of the message to set how they want to receive the message.

Depending on the urgency, feel free to Test the message, otherwise, click on Preview/Send.

A Preview Message dialogue box will open indicating the number of recipients for the message. If that looks good click on Send Message.

Create Templates for Messages

Templates can be created to reduce the amount of time needed to send out a message and reduce any errors.  After doing all the steps above click on Save at the top of the screen.

Give the Template a name and click OK.

The template will be available at the top when accessing Emergency Messenger. You also have the ability to Save, Copy, and Delete.
