Transferring iPads from DTS Stock to School inventory

DTS Internal process:

When schools request additional iPads for student use, use the following process:

  1. Get an iPad, cable, and charger from the DTS stock that is currently unassigned and place in a student case (Folio style for secondary, enclosure style for elementary).
  2. Confirm that the iPad has a charge and that it is running the latest iOS. Update and charge if needed.
  3. Use the iPad Inventory Control tool in Service Desk to move the iPad to the correct site in Destiny, MDM and Device Scan.
  4. Deliver the iPad to the school – the person who submitted the ticket should be the recipient.
