Access Local Macintosh Hard Drive from Citrix

Description: This tutorial is for people using Citrix on a Macintosh computer, not a thin client. It describes how to access the files on the local hard drive of the Mac.

  1. Log into Citrix on the Mac.
  2. Click Start > Computer
  3. Double-click on Local Disk (C: on your computer’s name)
  4. Click Allow to grant permission for Citrix to access the hard drive.
  5. In the window that opens, you will see a list of folders, including “Desktop” which is your Mac Desktop, and “Documents” which is the Documents folder inside your Home folder on your Mac.
  6. Open My Documents in another window.
  7. You can now drag and drop files between your Citrix enviroment and your local hard drive.
