Changes to your Mac’s login window are coming May 10! When you log in to your Mac, you’ll see the St. Vrain single sign-on (SSO) window.
What should you expect when this change happens?
Prior to the change, a window like the one below will pop up. Please close the window with the red close button in the upper left corner.
How will this change the login experience?
You can enter your username and password as normal when you’re connected to the Internet. If you’re not on a network, you can click the Local Login button and log in offline. More detailed information is available in the knowledge base.
What else should you know?
This change is being made to improve security and add functionality. You may notice a new icon in your menu bar, the St.VrainStorm lightning bolt. This has several links to district tools. One of these is a link to change your password, and is the best place to change it on your primary computer.
