AirServer - End of Life

This year, we’ve seen incredible examples of teachers using both their iPad and laptop to support instruction.  And, we’ve heard from several of you that AirServer, a tool to mirror your iPad to your computer screen, isn’t working up to your (and our) high standards.

After many months of deep exploration and research by our team in partnership with the folks at AirServer, Cisco and Apple, we’ve come to the realization that this resource simply isn’t meeting these high expectations for performance and reliability.

As such, we’ve made the difficult decision to remove AirServer from our supported suite of tools starting in mid-July.  We know that this decision will require you to make adjustments to how you use your iPad and so we want to offer you suggestions that can still be used to project in this support article.

We deeply appreciate all your efforts and look forward to continuing to provide world-class tools in support of teaching and learning.
