In order to keep all of your devices safe and secure, DTS needs to make an update to your wireless profile, and we need your help!
What do I need to do?
On the morning of Monday, November 4, 2019, every 1:1 iPad (staff and grades 6-12 student devices) will need to have the new wireless profile certificate applied.
To do this, on your iPad go to Settings > Wi-Fi, then select the svvsd network. A window will pop up with the new certificate. From there simply select Trust.
Why?
In order to allow our devices to use the svvsd network safely and securely, we install a certificate on your St. Vrain Valley School District devices. These periodically expire, and because the current wireless certificate expires in mid-November, we need to install an updated certificate.
Who?
This change will be applied to ALL district devices that connect to svvsd Wi-Fi. Most of the changes will be done by DTS remotely, but your 1:1 iPad (staff and grades 6-12 student devices) will need some interaction.
What if it doesn’t work?
If you have a stubborn device that will not connect on the morning of November 4, 2019, you can forget the network and sign in again.
