Description:
St. Vrain Valley Schools are currently the target of a spear phishing scheme. The phishers are creating non-district email accounts, but giving them display names of school administrators. They are then emailing specific people at the school, asking them to make purchases they will repay at a later date.
How to Respond
If you get a suspicious email request:
- Make sure it is coming from sender district account by clicking on the down arrow under their name and looking for the correct svvsd.org address. (see below)
- If it is not, contact them by phone and let them know you have received the phishing email.
- Do NOT reply to the email.
