What does your average day look like?
My day usually starts with checking email to see if I received anything from the people who arrived earlier than me. Then I go and try to complete any repairs that I left on the bench, like things running over night or left over from the day before. Around midday the new repairs for the day arrive so I begin work on those. Mid-afternoon the parts arrive that I ordered the day before so I then try to complete repairs that were awaiting parts. And all along, I’m watching email to see if there are requests from users in the field or updates for the technology store website.
What are your favorite things about working for St. Vrain?
I love that I get to contribute to the betterment of the next generation of people, even if its only in a small indirect way. I think that working in education is more philosophically fulfilling in that way then working in the private or corporate sectors.
What are your interests or activities outside of St. Vrain?
I love music, both listening and playing. I go to tons of shows every year. I also try to do lots of reading.
