What does your average day look like?
An average day for me begins with the creation of Infinite Campus (IC) accounts for new employees, and modifying existing accounts based off information from HR. Once that is done for the day, the remainder of the day is spent helping staff, students and parents with technology issues via phone calls, emails and work orders. On the Help Desk we provide support for a vast variety of software, equipment and applications. As a result of that, my day is usually not like the day before, as every day brings about different issues, problems, and support. About a third of those calls, emails and work orders are regarding IC and Regwerks. As part of the IC Admin Team, some days are spent providing training on Infinite Campus. Regwerks has become a big part of my day this past year as we’ve implemented the Regwerks software for Community Schools use with the childcare and enrichment programs.
What are your favorite things about working for St. Vrain?
There are many things I love about working here at St Vrain. I feel very fortunate to work with such great people on a daily basis. The Help Desk Team and the IC Admin Team that I am privileged to be a part of. The opportunities and challenges that I have been given that have helped me grow both personally and professionally. It’s also exciting to be a part of such a great school district, and able to participate in the growth and changes St Vrain is experiencing!
Optional: What are your interests or activities outside of St. Vrain.
My interests outside of work include my twin grandbabies, and spending time with family and friends. My husband and I love to travel, especially cruising! Although weekend road trips are just as great!! I love football, and am a huge Packers fan!
