What does your average day look like?
We’ve developed quite a body of software: some of which users run on-demand while other programs run automatically as we sleep at night. Among other things, I assure that this software runs properly and is updated when needed. In addition, there are always new projects to work-on; so there is a constant need to get requirements and to do software design, coding and testing. We try to handle problems immediately as they arise while simultaneously developing longer term software solutions where applicable.
What are your favorite things about working for St. Vrain?
I enjoy working with very competent people; and our department offers a fun and stimulating working environment
comparable to any I’ve experienced in the private sector. Secondly, you can’t beat the positive experience we
derive from supporting students (although not directly). The work is stimulating and quite rewarding.
What are your interests or activities outside of St. Vrain.
I’m all over the place. I enjoy pocket billiards, martial arts, dining-out, discussions in philosophy, programming, political science, among other things. It’s a wonderful life.
