How many failed passcode attempts will erase your LTP iPad?

On August 8, 2014, DTS staff will be turning on a feature that also will require a passcode for all iPads purchased through the Learning Technology Plan (LTP). This is being implemented in order to provide better service on locked iPads, but this will also ERASE THE iPad after 10 failed passcode attempts. We’re in the process of rolling out this change to all LTP-purchased iPads at this time.
